stages
about photographing events on stages
capturing moments on stages has always been a dream of mine. there is something truly special to me about people living art and expressing opinions in a public sphere.
my studies allowed me to realize the impact I can have by capturing what I find important, making things seen that would be forgotten.
theatre - concerts - activism

theater - the classic stage
the most classical stage you can think of: acting is a form of art I have always appreciated. by taking pictures of live performances I allow them to be remembered, even after the applause has ended and the stage is cleared.
quick movements, dance, changing lights and taking the perfect shot.

concerts - turning rhythms into visuals
whether it's speedy rap, heartfelt melodies or an entire orchestra, music has a special power that really comes into its own on stage. by capturing artists in their element, I make their passion stay for eternity.
big stages at festivals or small stages at your garden wedding - the combination of music and photography can create magic

activism - political action made by the people
alongside my cultural study program I am finding joy and strength in capturing activism. to me, the streets that people demonstrate on are a stage as well.
I have learned to use my photography as a tool to capture political action as it is happening.
observing the moment, creating representation for the future, and being a megaphone for quiet voices - this is what I try to accomplish with my activist pictures.
